Just 30 seconds walk (literally....) from our front door is one of the entrances to a huge national woods here and shame on us I know, but today was the first time we paid a visit!
Pure Greeks in heart, we usually take our car and go everywhere....

And it makes me wonder, where in Greece would I be able to live right next to such a beautiful place and before most of you turn around and shoot me by saying this and rightly so cause Greece has many beautiful places, may I add, which is so clean and not full of needles everywhere from the junkies using it as a sanctuary and mainly, next to places where we can work.
I say this cause our villages and mountains are beautiful but unless you are a farmer or run the village’s coffee shop, the closest place to work would probably be at least half an hour away and that’s being optimistic....
Can you blame me that I chose this place to live, really? This is where my child will be playing hide and seek in a few years time...
